This is very true. I think knowing that we are not alone and that we in the hands of God is most terrifying.

He has seen everything we have done, nothing passes his awareness. When we think we have hidden something, we haven't. He holds the keys to the abyss. How terrifying. Scares the shit out of me when I truly grasp this. That He could be so patient. He orchestrates everything. I am nothing. He is everything. No matter which way I argue, I can't win. This is reality. When I try to fight with reality I suffer.

I'm still left with the thought " He could say f*** you and that would be it". For a long time.

But you can know you are safe/saved. Truly (I think).
