This is true.

BUT. For the rs game they put a 4 car service on for the 11.15 Ormskirk train, the one it was blindingly obvious most people were going to use. Train was full at Maghull North. And when I say full, sardines, you couldn't breath. About 10 people managed to squeeze on at Maghull, not sure how.

The guard wasn then getting stick at every stop. Not her fault, felt sorry for her.

Usually coming home we have no problem as we go for a quick pint to let the queues die down. Nearly every time they put an 8 car service on which starts at Sandhills. This one is usually an hour after the final whistle (for night games) so as I say no problem.

On Monday they went for a 4 car service. We were queuing to get on (and we would have done) but the staff ushered towards the back of the train SHOUTING that there was more room. Every door was then blocked by staff telling us to back off as the train was full. It wasn't, they could've easily got people to move down and fill the isles.

We were then told they were moving to a 30 minute service. Sorry.

A fella in his late 70s early 80s was kicked out the station for swearing. He was simply frustrated. Fucking jobsworth cùnt she was.

Toilets were all locked as well. People pissing themselves.

We've always had a decent experience on the train but the last 2 games have been a disgrace.

Mainly operational, but a couple of times the staff seem to take pride in making it difficult.
