Patterson clearly isn’t the long term there but neither is JOB. Patterson had a couple of competent games at RB with us winning the games and him at least offering some balance, and he was promptly dropped regardless, zero reward for coming in and doing well covering in a Moyes side he will drop you again as soon as his favourites are back even if he has to put square pegs in round holes to fit them in. Incidentally JOB had his best games for Everton playing at CB in those same games, putting in man of the match performances. Moyes just likes to have another big unit at the back doesn’t he. Even though we constantly concede set pieces. I’ve no major issue with Tarks or Keane individually but they are about as complimentary as putting gravy on apple crumble. Two slow cumbersome last ditch types.
