As has been mentioned already in this thread, it’s the THOUGHT of a shark steaming into your leg like Luiz Suarez in a bad mood.
Well, that and that actual biting part where you lose your leg and die of blood loss.
I’d be bricking it having a swim 200 yards offshore in those waters.
Was in Turks and Caicos in 2024 and there’d been an attack on a young woman who lost a leg- about two weeks before we got there. I’m quite certain that the slightest brush of any sea creature would’ve ended up with me releasing a cloudy poo into the sea, kinda like an octopus’ defence only poo not ink.
I did see a big stingray near me on that trip.
