1988, a struggling student spent what was left of my grant to make my way home to be with my mum for Chrimbo as it was our first without my arl fella.

To be honest dont remember much of the rest of the game as my head was a bit of a whirl but we despatched them as routinely as we always did in those days.

Collected my winnings at full time, I think it was only a few of hundred quid, but it was enough to pay for a decent pressie for my mum and give me a boss time the rest of the holiday.
