There were a fair few of the pranksters in the Ship and Mitre yesterday afternoon in Xmas jumpers. One tried to engage me saying that I must agree that it was shot fo us all trying to compete with a team like Man City and their oil millions. I was somewhat amused. I asked him how much they paid for Declan Rice. He wasn’t amused. He kept repeating that they didn’t have “a benevolent owner”. I said it must be awful for them to be that skint. He then got quite annoyed when I mentioned they were part of the snake 6 brigade who wanted us gone for building a stadium. Weird cats.
