The last year has been a bit of a pisser for me Dad, obviously a lot of you know him as the steward on Gate 66 in the Park End, but sadly he had to give that up.

He was diagnosed with liver cancer around January (he fucking tells us on me ma's birthday) he was fine not ill or that but the Chemo proper messed with him, sound one day, grim the next week on and on

He came off the Chemo around August when they scanned and the tumours had shrunk so hopefully from the last scan last week it could fingers crossed be treated with steroids/tablets. He looks 100x better than he did mid Chemo and its fucking brilliant to see.

He was 75 in October and I was gutted he never got the chance to work in the new ground but it would have just worn him out, its not the same laid back routine of Goodison, so being able to take him and me mum and brother to the Spurs game in the exec boxes, private dining and that is something that will stick with him, that was a special day result aside.

Hes the one who started it all for me and Phil following Everton, I've never forgiven the cunt, er I mean Im greatful.
