I liked it too. It would have been a great way for clubs to unite and get a grip on costs. I also didn’t view it as a salary cap per se but you could see agents and players getting worried.

PSR was just as restrictive to trade as anchoring would have been, clubs clung only spend/lose so much. I guess the PFA were thinking it’s the first serious step towards a hard cap

However I do think we have to make the most now of this SCR to step clear of club traditionally smaller than us now PSR is out the way.
