Re: Weekend TV / Films
In the Mood for Love - Romantic drama set in 1962 Hong Kong directed by Wong Kar Wai. Two couples move into a busy apartment block at the same time. Su and Chow discover their distant spouses are having an affair. They become closer but resolve to keep their relationship platonic despite their growing affection for each other. A grown up romance that keeps you guessing. The acting is fantastic from both leads and the film looks amazing too. Kudos to the cinematographer. Ace 8.3/10 Blue Lights series 1 - started this again after finishing series 3. Excellent cop drama well worth watching despite the occasional misjudged dips into over sentimentality. 8/10 IPlayer
