Announced a likely vote-grabbing measure of immediately arresting anyone who arrives on a small boat and paying countries to take them back.
Pretty grim. There's obviously an issue with this - not least the safety of the people travelling this way, and the way they're being exploited by the gangs who profit from it.
What would YOU do to address it - or would you just leave it as is?
