She says that from her office window, particularly on the darker evenings, she can see the rats scurrying aots. She takes butties in a sealed tin, as she said they were told not to leave any food around desks and work areas, as they have had loads of the little bastards in their place.
It's not Everton's fault in any way. The whole area, including Vauxhall is crawling with the disease ridden 4 legged Kopites, which I witnessed myself when I was working in that area years ago, whilst fitting a new kitchen in a house near the Leeds Liverpool canal. We counted 10 in this woman's garden, and not small ones, in broad daylight, mooching around sheds and bins.
It's a problem that the Council and the Government have ignored, and it's grown to epidemic proportions in areas like Vauxhall, the City Centre, Bootle and the Mersey docklands, and will only escalate with the number of food outlets at the Hill Dickinson and the surrounding areas, that are
opening by the month.
The Council charge a hefty price to bait affected areas, if you join the huge waiting list. with bait that rats have become immune to, and have
been for many years.
