I reckon this one has to go through the process myself, far too much emotion for it to be discussed rationally without all the facts on the internet/in the press.

I think you (and by you I mean everyone) has to remember what the justice system is for, and I'm not even saying that they get it 100% right 100% of the time, but I don't know of a better system and I'm certain that trial by media in the court of public opinion isn't a better option.
