Its also worth knowing that these days its very rarely a pass/fail thing, its a risk management thing, the medical team will give the transfer committee/manager a report that highlights any concerns that they have, a lot of them use a Green/Amber/Red system and then they decide if that risk profile is acceptable within the deal that they are making.
They all have a folder (presumably online these days) that shows their injury history, fitness landmarks, ongoing concerns and the like. Results from fitness tests, bleep tests and all that malarky.
Gone are the days that a player goes in for an exam cold and tries to cover up any knocks that they have, you just cant get away with it anymore at the top of the game.
