I had both of mine done 3 years and, as you say, it's a game changer and a relatively straightforward process ( says he whose only medical knowledge comes from being married to a nurse!). Just a little tip, however, if at some point your vision goes a bit blurry, with what can only be described as a shadow across the lower part of your eye, then that's not linked to your cataract. That's a detached retina and that's a whole new level of ballache. Trust me on that one!
