I think its mainly used by people trying to get around AI based censorship.

Using the actual word will get your TicTok/Insta/youTube vid removed and/or unmonetized quicker than a fiddlers elbow by the algorithm otherwise.

I hope it doesnt pass into everyday parlance but I would imagine it probably will at some point.
