As decent a job as Thelwell did (imo) don't forget most signings were late on just as we are experiencing yet again. I thought he deserved to stay personally, but only TFG know why the club elected to change. Surely the club would retain a chunk of his detailed records to refer to. Shouldn't be going back to square one in the recruitment process.
