He’s an arrogant nobhead who will constantly look to shift the blame - it’s not as if we didn’t get 12 years of it, so we can only blame ourselves really. I think in many ways he’s got better with age (seemed much less of a nark in the run in last season, for example), but on this stuff he’s got worse as his ego has expanded.
