the ground is too small. its estimated only 3500 extra season tickets were added off a huge waiting list and membership scheme.
the corporate stuff is where the money is and why goodison pulled in less matchday revenue than the likes of brighton. no issue with them offering these packages, but obviously they needed more "normal" seats as well.
ive paid 200 a ticket for brighton. my head was wrecked at how few games i got to last season despite wanting to go to them all. especially the southampton game. i walked away after the pre match stuff - i genuinely would have given someone a grand to get into the game at that point.
figured there is only one first league game at the new ground, same as there was only one last game at goodison
after this i will be entering the ballot with the other forever blue + members for the rest of the games.
if i dont get any tickets then i will put the money away and when i get enough i will do the seat unique thing again.
