yep.

sat in a non bendy bus (sorry tram) from lime street to Gt Howard St for the 2nd test event.

it took nearly a fecking hour. the train from St Helens Lea Green to Lime Street took 12 minutes.

asked the Arriva bod when we got off why they didnt route the bus around the traffic and come in down vauxhall rd / Boundary St.

"we cant fit double decker buses under the railway bridge".

i asked why they didnt put single deckers on instead.

from the look on his face he clearly hadnt thought of that.
