I understand that if she was originally suspended for what she said, then reinstated after apologising , that to come out now and say she stands by what she said, they are going to suspend her again.

What I don't understand is why she didn't stand by her remarks a year ago.

What she said is patently true, if you are prejudiced against people because of their skin colour then those people are very easy to identify and abuse in some way

If you are prejudiced against someone because of their religion, they are not so easy to identify.

I don't think she helped herself by dragging gingers into the debate though
