its proper poor stuff. There is a massive disparity not just within the different teams, but within the players in the teams themselves. its like putting Messi into our squad and looking at the difference between him and the other players.

Some of the decision making and passing is atrocious, I'd say for 80% of the players with a few standout performers who have some genuine ability.
And this is the thing - I could have written that 10 years ago, so my problem is despite all the investment into the womens game I do not think the overall standard has gone up by much, if at all.

Stand out team for me has been France. in general they look a yard quicker, look strong on the ball, quite athletic.

As long as you go into these matches knowing what you are going to get, then fine, accept a lot of it will be shite in a lot of areas. However I do not get the comparison to the mens game, there is zero comparison, so people should stop doing it. if you think womens footy is shite, then don't watch it. if you do watch it, accept the shite parts and stop comparing it to the mens game.
