I agree. I think they could start by not stating fixtures as being the same. How often do you hear the BBC claming Arsenal have beaten Chelsea in the FA Cup? I've fallen foul of this a few times when I think to myself "I didn't even know they were playing each other today" only to then realise it's a women's match. I know what they are trying to do by not making the distinction it is trying to put the women's game on an equal platform, but its just getting people's back's up instead. In individual sports it's not a problem because the names referred to are clearly male or female, but in a team sport you need to know which version of that team is being referred to, just to save confusion if nothing else.
