Re: the programmed society - womens football
I hope the women's game goes from strength to strength and I have been to a few games myself. However, I won't seek it out any more, it's just not the game I want it to be at the moment, it has flashes of good stuff but the quality overall isn't something I want to waste my time on. I coach a grassroots team and a couple of our girls are now with Liverpool, they are really good and I hope they continue to improve, which I am sure they will and so will the women's game in general. I won't slate it, I just don't watch it as you suggest. I can as well though, have a laugh at those penalties. Hilarious. Let's put that down to nerves and not having a uterus. We've all seen the men shit their kecks plenty of times. In short, the quality's not quite there yet, so they should say so when talking about it and not ignore the fact, especially when it is shown on prime time TV and billed as something incredible.
