Someone posted below about an article on Granada Reports last night based in Salford. It was a cracking initiative and they had a number of their brightest kids on to talk about it. It was horrific listening to them, they could barely string a sentence together and these were kids that are doing very well.

Similarly, I attend Chester University once a year to sit on a panel and listen to students present the results of certain studies that they do, the standard is abysmally poor with maybe the odd one looking like they may have a bright future - and these are kids at University.

I don't want to sound like Alan Sugar but fuck me the future is bleak with what I've seen coming through and mobile phones / social media etc is to blame for that IMO
