A few years ago, pre-election, I got a load of abuse from an acutally good Evertonian mate of mine, a staunch anti-Tory (understandably) when I said "Starmer is not Labour, he is, also a Tory, the very new Labour". We are still mates, but no apology yet, not even a "maybe you were a bit right"...
