I like either a spoonful of harissa paste or a spoonful of gochuhang and a drizzle of hot honey to jazz up my beans on toast. Crispy onions sprinkled on top of both.
I got into the habit of poaching an egg in the beans and smothering it in hot sauce after somoeone on here suggested it but I haven't done that in a while.
Beans on toast is superb.
