Its one of the ones that is really effected by the weather, maybe more than most.
1 year we had the misfortune of a mix of really hot weather and torrential rain, meaning in the morning you woke up in a sweatbox of a tent when the sun came up and the actual site itself was a bit of a quagmire, to the point that on departure day everyone had real problems getting out of the car park!
Seen some great set's there. Faithless one year was up there with the best I've seen at a festival.
If you don't drive getting out is a bit of a nightmare because its basically the whole place trying to get on the (limited) shuttle bus to the ferry port, and then onto the ferry so either leave dead early on don't rush would be my advice.
that one with the weather we decided to just basically stay up and get the first bus (which we had to help push out of the mud)on the Monday, I think we left the site at about 6am, were on the first ferry and got the train from Portsmouth with all the office workers who were travelling into London.
I was covered in Mud on a massive come down and I could basically smell myself whilst sat next to some poor woman in Business attire on her way to work on a Monday, I don't think she was impressed, and neither was I, was the start of the end of festival going for me really.
