Out in Fuengirola on holiday sat in a cafe having breakfast with my lad who had his Everton top on, the waitress (late 50's / early 60's) comes over and says my friend plays for your team. Turns out she's from Sheffield and lived near Ndyiae when he was there. She then gets her phone out and shows us a video message of him saying hello to her and her husband the day Sheff Utd got promoted to the Premier league and saying I bet you are enjoying your day. Then she tells us that when he left Sheffield for Marseille he said that they could take whatever they wanted from his house, he was starting afresh and wouldn't be taking anything with him, he also left his cat with their neighbour who now looks after it, lovely little cat apparently 😂
