It's time for this lad to end his football career, he's not getting it back and I don't think he really wants it back either, more pandering to others around him who want to 'save' him which isn't doing anyone any good least of all him.

He needs to be sent on his way with all the support he needs to battle his demons and eventually make himself employable at something he's more mentally suited to.

Thing is he'd probably one day make the perfect counsellor for other young sportsmen suffering mental health problems, but he needs to get away from football completely for a long time first.
