I just watched a documentary on Evil the other day and it reminded me of that day. I grew up in Racine and my dad raced there often. I just now looked up on the web the day and year he was there and wow! I was 6 years old. I remember before the jump meeting him in the trailer, but was too shy to say anything to him. I had all his toys and couldn't believe i was next to him. I also remember before the jump on his practice runs in front of the crowd he got off his bike and came over to me on the grass in front of the stands and patted, ruffled the top of my head. I still look back in my memory of that amazing day. TY Evil, sorry i didn't say anything.

On Oct 17th 1938 a baby was born.
That baby would become a man, that man became a LEGEND.
On Nov 30th 2007 the man passed away.
But his Legend lives on in the hearts the minds and the memories of
the millions of people whose lives he touched in the 69 years he graced the earth.
Thanks Evel we will NEVER FORGET YOU.
