The painters and graphics designers that will do all the paint work on Evel's Mack have asked for any and all pictures I might have of the rig.
I found a quite a few and scanned some of the pictures from Evel's collection, but they say they still want more.
The truck will be painted with the red paint scheme and will also have the Snake River Canyon graphics. If any of you have nice clear pictures of the truck that you'd be willing to share, please post them here.
The marketing people that are underwriting the restoration project are working on a Knievel/Mack, web page. Although the page is mainly designed to lure more national sponsors,
it will also include a donation link for Evel's fans to contribute to the project.
The cool part is that anyone that donates a certain amount (sorry I don't know that amount off hand) will have their name painted on the back door of Evel's rig for all to see.
I haven't seen the truck recently but I hear good things from Robb Mariani of American Trucker fame. Robb is responsible for putting this restoration together and I can't thank him enough for his hard work.
Make sure to visit Robb's facebook for updates on the Evel rig.
