According to 9 News, Cilla Carden took the lawsuit to the Supreme Court of Western Australia, believing that her neighbours are intentionally cooking meat outdoors to anger her. "It's deliberate," Carden told 9 News. "All I can smell is fish. I can't enjoy my backyard."
It's not the only complaint Carden has with her neighbours. The lawsuit also claims the homeowners' smoking and children playing basketball are also nuisances.
If you think the case is ridiculous, you're not the only one. The State Administrative Tribunal of Western Australia threw the case out in February, the Evening Standard reported. The supreme court has also previously rejected Carden's case in July.
Carden said she's "a good person. I just want peace and quiet." She plans on continuing with the lawsuit.
To maybe poke fun of the vegan's plight, thousands of people have RSVPed on Facebook for a community barbecue outside Carden's home on Oct. 19. Close to 9,000 people have indicated interest in the event, which is aimed at mocking the woman's case against her meat cooking neighbours.
