Police say they have dismantled the largest counterfeit DVD burning and manufacturing operation in Canadian history. Police seized hundreds of packaged DVDs, luxury vehicles and money during the operation, according to a statement from the Halton Regional Police Service Regional Fraud Bureau.

The bootleg DVDs were waiting overseas shipment.

Police will hold a conference at 2 pm today to show the equipment used for producing counterfeit DVDs and to provide an indepth explanation of how it is done.
