Amorous cows brought traffic to a grinding halt in Rayburn, Penn. on Friday.

A pair of bovines were caught "having relations in the road," state police told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The cows did the dirty on an intersection near a construction zone, blocking traffic in multiple directions.

The bull didn't take kindly to police attempts to interrupt the act, so cops called in the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, whose officials "coaxed the animals into custody."

"We've had cows hit by cars before...this is a first in my career," Trooper John Corna said.
