Public outrage over Will Smith's ultra-extravagant 1,150 square foot double decker trailer - which reportedly contains a movie room, offices, a bedroom, a bathroom, and requires so much gasoline to run that local SoHo residents claim the entire neighbourhood now "smells like a gas station" - has reached the point where mayor Michael Bloomberg has deemed it necessary to intervene. "To balance the interests of the production and the neighborhood, we have instructed Men in Black 3 to relocate the trailer to a private lot," a statement from the mayor's Office of Film, Theater, and Broadcasting read.

The outrage has also prompted two city council members to propose legislation setting limits on the size of film production vehicles. "Hardworking New Yorkers have a right to wake up in the morning and not find a cruise ship parked out in front of their house," said Peter Vallone Jr., Public Safety Committee Chair.

The trailer is now parked in a private lot about a mile away from Smith's $25,000 a month Bond street apartment. Smith is expected to make the commute in a Russian MI 12 helicopter retrofitted with a swimming pool, sauna, minibar, and 100 inch plasma screen.
