The Highland County Fair Truck Pull Saturday, August 31, 2013 6 p.m.
Monterey, Virginia

Hear the roar of the turbo engines as
your favorite Ford, Chevy, or Dodge
drags the sled up the track.

ADDMISSION:
15 & Up: $10
Ages 10 - 14: $5
Under 10: Free

ENTRY FEE PER HOOK - $20

Pullers must be registered one hour
prior to start of pull.

Registration begins each day at 4pm
and closes at 5:30pm sharp!

Guidelines:
Additional classes may be added at the discretion of the McDowell Fire Department.
Cash prizes and trophies awarded for 1st through 4th places.
Allowed two hooks if all requirements met.

240 Myers Moon Rd.
Monterey, Virginia
just outside of Town limits.

From East:
Take Exit 225 off I-81 (Monterey exit). Travel west on Rt. 262 and go
approximately 1.7 miles to stoplight. Continue on Rt. 262 west to Rt.
250/Churchville Avenue (approximately 3.8 miles). Turn right onto Rt. 250
West to Monterey. Travel 40.8 miles to Monterey. You will cross four
mountains before arriving in Monterey. (You should allow 1 hour of driving
time from Rt. 262 to Monterey.) At foot of mountain just before the Town of Monterey, turn left onto Myers-Moon Road (Rt. 649). Travel 0.4 mile to the fairgrounds, which are located behind the school on the right.

From West:
Travel on Rt. 250 East to Monterey. Continue through blinking light to end of Town limits. Turn right onto Myers-Moon Road (Rt. 649). Travel 0.4 mile to the fairgrounds, which are located behind the school on the right.

From South:
Travel on Rt. 220 North to Monterey. At blinking light, turn right onto Rt. 250 East. Travel to end of Town limits. Turn right onto Myers-Moon Road (Rt. 649). Travel 0.4 mile to the fairgrounds, which are located behind the school on the right.

From North:
Travel on Rt. 220 South to Monterey. At blinking light, turn left onto Rt. 250 East. Travel to end of Town limits. Turn right onto Myers-Moon Road (Rt. 649). Travel 0.4 mile to the fairgrounds, which are located behind the school on the right.
