Hello, second message today, I'm sorry. I have the will of my 2xG Grandfather who died in 1900. The will starts "....late of St Winifreds Topsham near Exeter..." There is no other address given. I've been searching to no avail for St Winifreds Topsham - would this be the same place as Branscombe? Google suggests it may be a building, house, school etc as there is no St Winifreds there, and may I please ask whether you can shed any light on this? Thank you very much in advance.

Have you tried searching for him in the 1891 census to see where he was living?

Hi Deborah, thank you very much for your reply! Yes, I know where he was living aside from the brief time he was living in Exeter, which was a maximum of two years. I’m just trying to identify where St Winifreds was in Topsham - whether it was an area, a street or a building of some kind including a nursing home. He could have bought a house, rented one, sharing with someone or maybe was just lodging. I’m hoping someone may be able to identify it. Thank you very much for your help.
