Isaac Burton

Please could anyone help me. I have an Isaac Burton b abt 1795 who married Jane Mutter in Woodbury in 1820. Trying to trace Isaacs parents and all I can find are an Isaac and Mary who were married at Awliscombe in 1770s. Any help much appreciated, thank you

Awliscombe baptisms dont seem to be on line.
Death of Isaac is 1846 aged 51, so born 1794/5, Awliscombe near Honiton, so not far away, he was a carrier so could have come from any of the parishes around Woodbury.
might be worth investigating the couple you found to see if they are still alive in 1841/51 and how old they were. Could have married young and he could have been the youngest of a large family.

Isaac who is 45 in 1841 could have been bapt as early as 1791. Ages rounded down to nearest 5 years, Married Jane Miller in Woodbury, Isaac Borton bapt in Awliscombe child of Isaac and Mary is the only candidate amongst the records on FMP He was the youngest child of 5 born between 1775 and 1791 to the couple
