Hi guys I am looking for any information on the Chubb family from Devon. I am starting with RICHARD CHUBB born 1786 I believe in Tamerton Folliot. He married JANE DADD in 20/4/1806 in Stoke Damerel. I believe she was born 1783 but do not know where. Any information would be great about any of the family. As I live in New Zealand I find it very hard to research Devon stuff.

There is a Richard Chubb bapt. 09.01.1785. Tamerton Foliot, son of Thomas and Ann. Burial 19.05.1850. Tamerton Foliot aged 64. There is a Jane Chubb buried Bickleigh (Nr.Plymouth), but of Tamerton Foliot, on 17.11.1813. aged 31. Children. Ann bapt 28.12.1806. Bickleigh, buried 21.09.1811. aged 5 yrs. Tamerton Foliot. James bapt. 18.12.1808. Bickleigh. John bapt. 17.03.1811. Bickleigh. Francis (Fanny?) bapt.05.11.1813. Tamerton. possibly buried as Francis Ann 20.12.1813. aged 9 weeks. Tamerton. Sally

Jane was baptised at Chagford 11 May 1783 daughter of John & Ann DODD. Her marriage banns were read at Chagford in the name of Dodd. Source - Find My Past.
A John Dodd married an Ann Dyer at Chagford 1776. There are a large number of Dodd's in the parish registers.
