Looking for Winifred Lydia Muller/Miller b.1898

Good afternoon,

We are after information regarding Winifred Lydia Muller (also listed as Miller) maiden name Gilmour.

We have found a record of death at St. Barnabas’ Home for Incurables, Brocket Hall, Haldon Road, Torquay, Devon.

However, she also seems to be working at Totnes Hospital as a nurse assistant under her non married name in 1921.

Any information from 1919 -1924 would be very useful if there is any at all. She had two young girls who appear to be in a Catholic home in 1921.

Winifred was the daughter of George and Lydia Gilmour, born 4.9.1897, one of the 9 out of 10 which had survived by 1911.on census with them in Plympton when they are teachers, by 1911 were head teachers.
what are the names of the children you found? and ages. I cannot find her marriage.

Marriage took place in 1917 in Scotland (on Scotland's People index). Husband is Jean Joseph Muller.

Daughter Jeanne Winifred born in Scotland 1918.

Possible daughter Kathleen M registered St Germans 1919.

Checked on G.R.O. Kathleen May Muller registered St Germans Sept qtr 1919 mothers maiden name Gilmour, so looks as if that is when they are back from Scotland and would tie up with the mothers death in 1924 in Devon. What happened to the father? More questions!!

Re the father - there's an Ancestry tree which has him born 1876 in Switzerland.

found a birth Douglas G.H.mILLER Born March qtr 1923 registered Plymouth, mother maiden name Gilmour
Does that ring bells?
