I have relatives in Broadhembury between 1700-1850 the earliest arrived as if from another planet as I have searched all local locations but can find no connections, so could Crediton be a point that they might have arrived from The scenario could be that John marr Elizabeth Squire in Clyst Hydon and then had 6 children in Broadhembury but they when they married he was 16 and she was even younger,so could it be that this is why they married in Clyst Hydon and not Broadhembury, I have documented evidence of the families in Broadhembury after this but cannot get back further John

On the baptism of one of their daughters, it mentions that John is from 'Luton'. Having looked on the Genuki map for Broadhembury, there is a hamlet or farm called Luton in the bottom left hand corner of the parish.
One of the adjacent parishes is Payhembury, and I am assuming that John and Elizabeth were buried there rather than in Broadhembury, having found likely matches. The burial register entry for John in 1736 stated he is from Broadhembury.
Annoyingly, no age is given for either of them which makes looking for their baptisms tricky. However, I haven't come across any minors marrying in my tree in that era, so I am thinking that would be unusual (esp. for working class folk).
Furthermore, looking at the Clyst Hydon marriage entry, there is no mention of that John & Elizabeth being from another parish but the writer mentions when either the bride or groom or both come from elsewhere on other entries on the same page.
Having said that, though, I am not sure how you know that they might have been minors when they married?
The above is just my observations and unfortunately does not provide any concrete evidence.

Karen, thanks for that info Elizabeth died 1767 states age of 62 so c1705 and yes Payhembury but no info on John, my marr info came from another source and all seems to fit apart from young ages, so I guess will have to dispose of that info, Where did the burial of John in 1736 come from John

Well, that's odd. The Payhembury burial register entry on FMP for Elizabeth just shows the date of her burial (24th May), but does not show an age.
The burial I found for John (Commyns) in 1736 is from an image of the Payhembury burial regiser on FMP. He might not be the one you are looking for as he is buried in May, and Dinah is baptised in October, no mention of her father being deceased.

Karen , sorry for the delay , I had not realised you had replied, I now realise that I had added the age of Elizabeth from the marriage , but have to concede that this is not the marriage, do you think that John arriving in Broadhembury as just arrived from outer space , as I have looked at all the local parishes and not found, could he have come from Crediton as they seem to have a huge collection of BMD,s , lots more than any other Devon area John
