John Beare b.1781-1838 in Devon please?

Hello, hope you are well? I am looking for any information possible for the above person please? I do have that John married a Mary Ann Furneaux, and recently seen that the marriage was - ( 12/2/1811 in Wolborough, Devon)?
I know his mother was a lady named Jane Cook, though I would be very grateful for any information regarding John’s father and anything else about him please? The other information that was passed to me was that the surname was originally - Ottaway Beare, which came to England during the (William the conqueror). Maybe the Ottaway was dropped down the line?

There is a marriage showing in Modbury for A John BEARE of Ugborough & Jane COOK in 1780 - see http://www.our4bears.net/parishes/Modbury/Modbury_marC.htm Again the 1811 marriage states John BEARE is also of Ugborough. FMP indices show a 1781 baptism for a John Cook BEARE. You can access FMP from many library online services.

Another John Cook Beare baptised to same couple 5.5.1785 Ugborough. Think this is him.

family search shows John Cook Beare b 1781 died 1784, have you got the right one? was he married as John Beare? could be the second child of this couple.
