Surname 'Gatscias'

Hi. I have discovered that I may have a 4xggrandmother by the name of Mary Anne Gatscias! She married William Canniford on 23/09/1832 in Heavitree church, Exeter. Mary, I believe, was born in Charlton (South Hams?) in 1793, but I can't find her birth. I have found two boys, Daniel b 1808 and William b 1810 with parents Daniel and Mary born in Devon but I'm unsure where (on Find my past).
I'm intrigued by the name, wondering if this is her family, and maybe where the surname came from (or if it's misspelt even!!). Not much comes up with a google search!! Any clever people out there who may point me in the right direction, or may know/have a connection at all!!!??? Thanks in advance. Julia

There's a Mary Ann GATRIAS (per FMP index) baptised in Dodbroke in 1792

Looking at original entry, it looks like Gatscias rather than Gatrias, so could be you Mary Ann.
