Royal Navy + Sidmouth

I know little of the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic Wars and wondered if anyone could share background knowledge or recommend a website. John Pine, my 4x great-grandfather, did 10 years service much of it off the shores of America. |
18 Feb 1804. 'Entry Books of Certificates of Service', John Pine but no mention of his birth.
From Muster List of HMS Wasp, John Pine joined the ship at Lisbon as Ordinary Seaman on 15 July 1804. He recieved RN clothes. He left this ship at Lisbon on 29 Sept 1804.
John, using the alias, 'James Woods', on 11 June 1805 joined his next ship, the HMS Cleopatra. He had not been pressed.
As James Woods he served in the Royal Navy on
HMS Cleopatra 11 June 1805 - 27 Sept 1810. OS
HMS Guerriere 28 Sept 1810 - 23 Oct 1811. OS
HMS Cleopatra 24 Oct 1811 - 23 Feb 1813. OS
HMS San Domingo 24 Feb 1813 - 7 Sept 1813. OS
HMS San Domingo 8 Sept 1813 - 20 Aug 1814. AB
HMS Glasgow 21 Aug 1814 - 16 Sept 1814. AB
I think John PINE was baptised at Sidmouth in 1782, the illegitimate daughter of Mary Pine.
I am struggling to find anything relating to Mary Pine at Sidmouth - her birth, other children, a possible marriage or death.
Any help most appreciated
