Henry and Elizabeth Crook had 2 sons and 1 daughter between 1863-1868. Henry was supposed to have died in 1860 so how did they manage having the children. Was there another Elizabeth and Henry Crook. Elizabeth b Hallwell 1838 Henry b Ashprington 1828.

Elizabeth CROOK was shown in the 1871 census with 3 children born between 1862 and 1868. Henry's burial was shown in 1868 aged 39 so I think that solves the problem. (Recorded as CHROOK)

Henry Crook married a Elizabeth Ellis in the Totnes civil registration district Dec Q 1858. A Henry Crook had a death registered in the Newton Abbot civil registration area June Q 1860. I suggest that you check the 1861 census for the Totnes area to see if a Henry and Elizabeth Crook are recorded.
