Looking at the 1841 and 1851 census she appears to be at home with parents, and on 1851 listed as deaf and dumb. It would appear that the school was residential, and there may be records of any pupils admitted as charity cases. There is an entry on National archives site giving details of a report held at Somerset Heritage centre, ref DD/WY/170
by Wyndham of Wyndham abbey in 1939. Might be worth looking at.
I dont think she went there, if she did she would probably have stayed there for some time, in 1836 she would have been about 9. Perhaps she did not like it, and the family could afford to keep her, her father was a mason, a skilled man. They were living in North Boveyin 1841, and 1851 in Tormoham both some distance from Exeter, which might have been a factor in decision making.
