Richard could be son of John Farr of Slapton, and wife Jane according to a tree on Family search. Richard was apprenticed in 1801 so that indicates perhaps from a poor family.
Emma a stationer and her youngest daughter on 1901 census Ireland, she is deceased I think by 1911 as daughter is a visitor in some ones house.
