My mother was evacuated to Okehampton in 1939. I can see her name (Joyce Lilian Bitten) on the 1939 register. She is recorded as having lived with Charles and Winifred Alford. I would like to find out further details:
1. How long was she evacuated for?
2. Which school/college was she evacuated with and where did she attend school or college in Okehampton?
