Just received the latest isue of Historian and delighted to see the picture of Brent Tor Church on the cover. My paternal grandparents married there 10 August 1908 - did make me think that couples have to be very serious about marrriage having had to get up there! A few years ago we were doing a B&B locally when some of the other guests were attending a wedding there (lady was a Matron of Honour)and looking forward to a trip in a tractor trailer to get to the top.

Would be somewhat remiss not to take the opportunity to thank Janet Few for her Chairmanship during what has been a very trying period, ensuring not only the continued success of, and indeed continued existence, of the Society.
