There is a Tammy Holloway christened in Charles in 1798, the daughter of a Thomas and Mary Holloway. I see from the marriage register that Thomazin was the daughter of a Thomas and also on the 1851 Census she was born in West Buckland, an adjacent parish to Charles.
Thomazin (Tammy) Holloway's parents were Thonas Holloway and Mary Vicary married in 1790 in West Buckland. Thomas was the son of Thomas and Susanna (nee Huxtable) christened in 1770 in Charles. Thomas senior was christened in 1743 in East Buckland, the son of John and Thomasin (nee Courtice).
Thomasin Courtice had an illegitimate son called John in 1728 several years before she married John Holloway in 1742 in East Buckland. Her illegitimate son married with the name Holloway and was buried as John Holloway alias Curtice - he is a direct ancestor to me.
To answer the question in a somewhat long winded way, then if this is correct there are lots of Holloways in North Devon who will be related to and descended from the same family as Rose.
